Not so environmentally friendly
I think most people buy these diapers for two reasons: They work, and are environmentally friendly. They do work fine, but are certainly not environmentally friendly. Here's a FAQ on Seventh Generation's website: "Just like most disposable diaper designs in the marketplace, Seventh Generation diapers are not biodegradable, nor can they be composted. Great diapers, just a tad itchy for my son
These diapers are great and I really love that they are chlorine-free. They are absorbent and fit well. The only thing is that they seem to make my son's back a bit itchy. I constantly see him scratch where the elastic hits his skin, but only when he wears these diapers. I'm still on the search for a great green diaper that is a good blend of absorption and comfort. Earth's Best are up next...we'll see how those work out.
